Misrod woman accuses her samdhi of rape

Bhopal: A 45-year-old woman in Misrod has accused her son's father-in-law of rape. The woman has claimed that the 50-year-old man was sexually assaulting her since the last 8 months. The woman approached Misrod police when the accused pressured her to fake a dispute with the owner of the security agency where she worked and falsely implicate him in a case to extort money. When she refused to comply, the accused got angry and threatened her. The woman then filed a complaint against him at Misrod police station on Wednesday. Police have registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the accused. According to the police, the 45-year-old woman works as a security guard in a private agency. She arranged her son's marriage, during which she came in contact with her daughter-in-law's father (the accused). The accused also works as a security guard, and his wife has passed away. The woman's husband is currently in jail in a kidnapping case. The accused allegedly told her that her husband would never come out of jail and pressured her to marry him, promising her a better job. Over time, he established physical relations with her. He also demanded that she give him a share from the money she was earning. The situation escalated when the accused asked her to fake a dispute with her security agency owner and falsely implicate him under the Atrocities Act to extort money. Troubled by his actions, the woman filed a complaint with Misrod police. Misrod police on Wednesday registered a rape case and started an investigation.
