Bhopal: Misrod police station has become the first ISO 9001:2015 certified police station in the city. On the completion of the renovation of this police station and on receiving the ISO 9001:2015 certificate, a function was organised at Misrod police station on Friday, in which all the officers of the Bhopal Police Commissionerate were present.
In the campaign launched last year under the Bhopal Police Commissionerate, special efforts were made on the renovation of police stations.
In this context, Misrod police station in Zone 2 was taken as an initiative. The building of the police station was in a very dilapidated condition and there was no place for the staff of the police station to sit or for the records etc. which were in a pathetic condition.
Last year, with the grant received from the police headquarters, SHO Misrod RB Sharma made special efforts to renovate the police station. Old records were destroyed and special efforts were made to beautify the police station and increase people-oriented facilities. DCP Zone-2 Shraddha Tiwari and Additional DCP Zone-2 Rajesh Bhadoria played a special role in this process of improving the police station.
Commissioner of Police Harinarayanachari Mishra inspected each and every arrangement of people-oriented services done at the police station and appreciated it. He said that it is expected that the police station would be able to provide better service to the public coming here. He hoped that in the coming days, other police stations of Bhopal Commissionerate would also be renovated in the same way and efforts would be made to get the ISO-9001:2015 certificate. TNN
