Bhopal: Providing reservation in promotions continues to remain a challenge for the government. A meeting of the committee of group of ministers and officials that met on Thursday, remained inconclusive. The meeting again be held on February 8.
The issue has been pending for the past five years now. It has put on hold the promotion of government employees for the past five years in the state. The meet called on Thursday also remained inconclusive on the issue despite heavy weight ministers of the government deliberating on the issue.
The committee of the group of ministers was constituted to give government employees promotion in their service tenure as per their eligibility.

said on Thursday that the meeting regarding reservation in promotion is being organized again on February 8, 2022. He said that the Government of Ministers has unanimously taken the decision that the office bearers of Ajax and Sapaks organization will also be invited in the upcoming meeting.
Mishra presided over the meeting of the group of ministers constituted to provide opportunities for promotion as per eligibility to the government servants during their service period. In the meeting, various points on fixing the future strategy of promotion of government servants according to eligibility were discussed.
