Man’s body found on rly tracks in Misrod

Bhopal: Body of a 27-year-old Rewa-based jobless youth was found on the railway tracks in Misrod locality on Sunday.
Misrod police said that a case has been registered. The youth had come to Bhopal to visit his mother undergoing cancer treatment at AIIMS hospital. Prima facie they suspected that he died by suicide over her health. He too was undergoing psychiatric treatment, police said.
Investigation officer Nirmal Vishwakarma said that deceased Prakash Soni was unemployed.He resided with his mother in Rewa while his father Premchand Soni works in a private college in Danish Nagar in Bhopal. His elder brother Pankaj works in a private company in Nepal.
Vishwakarma said that Prakash left home on Saturday evening saying that he was going to the temple and did not return. His father was searching for him, and his mobile was not reachable. Police recovered his body on Sunday morning lying on the railway tracks behind a supermarket. His mobile phone was found broken. When police inserted his SIM card into another phone, they received a call from his elder brother Pankaj and his identity could be ascertained. The family members told police that Prakash was undergoing psychiatric treatment and was very much attached to his mother.
