Man's abduction: 2 youths arrested

BHOPAL: In a sensational incident, a man was allegedly abducted and beaten by three youths, including Kuldeep Dubey--famous for stand-up comedy on a popular television laughter show- here on Wednesday night. Of four accused, two were arrested on the charges of abduction on Thursday. The other two accused are still at large.The incident revolves around a young woman, who is missing from her house in Arera Colony for the past few days. The Habibganj police said Yuvraj-- the brother of missing woman along with her two friends Vinay Singh Rajput, Kuldeep Dubey and one other kidnapped relative of a man who he thought was responsible for her sister's disappearance. Sandeep Saxena is believed to be close to the missing woman. Police said Yuvraj called Sandeep to talk about the issue. However, Sandeep sent his cousin Sanjay to Yuvraj.According to the police, when Sanjay went to meet Yuvraj, he was allegedly abducted by him with the help of his friend Vinay. The duo took Sanjay to the house of Kuldeep Dubey at Chunabhatti.The incident came to fore when Sanjay's wife called Sandeep to inquire about her husband, when he did not reach home till night.Later, Sanjay's family approached the Habibganj police.Meanwhile, Sanjay remained confined, in the house of Kuldeep Dubey in Chunabhatti. Once he learned that Sanjay's family had approached the police, Kuldeep took Sanjay to Habibganj police in his SUV. But he was rounded up. Another accused, Vinay, was also later arrested by the police while he was trying to leave the city. But main accused, Yuvraj Singh is still missing and police teams are trying to locate him.The police have registered a case of abduction on the complaint of Sanjay's wife Sadhna Saxena. There are four accused in the case. Yuvraj Singh and Vinay Rajput are the prime accused while Kuldeep and one more, who is yet to be identified, have been booked for being accomplices in the crime.Sanjay's uncle R D Saxena told TOI that "Sanjay has been stabbed by the accused besides confining him for the whole night. Sanjay is a married man and has two kids. He went there to talk to them, but Yuvraj Singh allegedly abducted him with the help of his friends," he added.Five police teams have launched a massive manhunt for Yuvraj. Regarding his background, the officials informed he hails from a village in Seoni Malwa. His family owns a huge property there while he resides with his sister in E-4 Arera Colony here.CSP Rajesh Bhadoria confirmed to TOI that Kuldeep Dubey has also been made an accused in the case apart from Yuvraj Singh, Vinay Rajput and one other.Yuvraj is also a relative of a senior Congress leader, but the police did not confirm it.
