BHOPAL: Two persons stabbed a man after he lodged a police complaint against a canine owner after his dog bit the victim’s son. Police have registered a complaint on July 29 against the two accused.
The accused allegedly barged into his house in Thursday night and attacked him with sharp-edged weapons. They later escaped from the spot. The victim was rushed to hospital.
A case under section of attempt to murder was registered at Nishatpura police station. The two accused are yet to be arrested, police said.
The complainant, Satyanarayan Soni, 45, a resident of Triveni Nagar, is a security guard in a hospital. The accused are two brothers, Govind Meena and Vidya Prakash Meena.
Police said Govind’s dog had bitten Soni’s son, Adarsh on July 29 after which Soni had registered an FIR registered again him following an argument with him. When he came to know about the police case, Govind was infuriated.
In a bid to settle scores with him, Govind came with his brother and attacked him with a sword and rod.
