Man shoots dead bro and nephew in Sagar

Bhopal: An ex-soldier shot dead his brother and nephew and left his daughter injured after a family dispute in Lalepur village of Sagar district at round 11 am on Friday. The accused was arrested from Sagar town in the afternoon.
Accused was identified as Ramadhar Tiwari, 50, resident of Lalepur. He is an ex-soldier and had recently procured a licensed gun.
Deceased were identified as Ram Milan Tiwari, 62, elder brother of accused and Ram Milan’s son Ajju Tiwari, 36.Varsha Tiwari, 24, daughter of accused is admitted to hospital, said police.
Sources said that accused had some dispute with his brother and nephew for a long time and he used to frequently quarrel with his wife also. On Friday morning, he picked up a fight with his brother. He came running into the house and took out his gun. When his daughter tried to stop him, he fired at her too. He then fired at his elder brother and nephew. After injuring all three he escaped, injured were rushed to hospital, where doctors declared two of them dead, Varsha who has sustained injuries in her legs is undergoing treatment, added sources.
SP Sagar, Abhishek Tiwari said, “The accused was arrested from Sagar town. Prima facie it has surfaced that family dispute led to the incident. Elder brother and nephew of the accused had died, while treatment of his daughter was underway. She had sustained bullet injuries in her leg and is out of danger as per the doctors.” tnn
