Man gets 1-yr jail for lewd remarks on girl

Bhopal: A court of judicial magistrate first class (JMFC), here, sentenced a person to one year of simple imprisonment for making obscene comments on a girl.
According to assistant district prosecution officer (ADPO), Manoj Tripathi, who appeared in the case on behalf of the prosecution, on March 26, 2013, when the complainant was going to a clinic to fetch medicines, she confronted the accused Ravindra Baggan, a resident of Rahul Nagar, near Ambedkar Park, who started making obscene comments on her and threatened her of dire consequences.
When her mother tried to pacify him, he threatened to kill her. Later, she lodged a complaint against the accused at Kamla Nagar police station. tnn
