Bhopal: Man dies by suicide at girl’s home

BHOPAL: A 23-year-old man hanged himself at his former colleague’s house after she refused to marry him in Chhola on Tuesday.
SHO Chhola Anil Singh Mourya said that Kunal alias Akash Malviya, 23, worked at a garment shop where he came in contact with the woman. He wanted to marry her but her parents were not ready for their marriage. SHO Mourya said that on Tuesday, Akash reached the spot around 12.30pm and started pressurising the girl to marry him.When she refused, he locked himself in a room and hanged himself.
She repeatedly knocked on the door and called him but he did not open the door. The neighbours rushed to the spot on hearing her voice and broke open the door only to find Akash hanging from the ceiling fan.
