Madhya Pradesh youth booked for saying he will throw bomb at cop van in viral video

BHOPAL: A Katni youth was booked for threatening to throw a bomb on the van of police station incharge - stating that his girlfriend has asked him to do so. The video of the incident has gone viral.
The youth seen in the video has been identified as Saurabh Gupta, resident of Kotwali area of the district.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, he can be heard saying, "Reena (changed named) had told me that if you throw a bomb on the vehicle of the police station incharge, then I will marry you.I told her that I will land in jail, she said are you scared, I replied I can do anything for Reena...in coming few days I will throw a bomb on the police station incharge's vehicle".
When the video came into the cognisance of police, a case of threatening has been registered against the accused.
"A case under section 506 (threat) of IPC has been registered against the accused youth. We have had a conversation with thewoman, he is naming in the video, she had denied saying any such thing to the accused. In fact around two years ago it was on the complaint of the girl that the accused was booked under section 354 (molestation) of IPC. She is married and is mother to two children. She will be coming to Kotwali on Monday and based on her statements further course of action would be decided", Katni Kotwali police station incharge, Ajay Singh told TOI.
