Madhya Pradesh: Three killed in lightning in Panna

PANNA: Three people were killed and 9 injured in two incidents of

lightning

strikes in

Panna

district of

Madhya

Pradesh. All the incidents took place on Friday evening around 7pm .

A 70-year-old man was

struck by lightning

when he went out to graze cattle in

Simrakhurd village

,sub-divisional magistrate (SDM)

Rachna Sharma

said.

In another incident, two women –Lakshmi 28 and Kajal 20 were struck by lightning when they were working in a field in

Kulhgawan village

. The injured were admitted to the district hospital of Panna.
