Madhya Pradesh: Youth tied, whipped 100 times for taking leave

: A 24-year-old youth was tied to a petrol pump machine and whipped over 100 times by his employers as a punishment for going on a days’s leave without information.

. The two accused were arrested and sent to jail on Thursday night after the matter surfaced.

works at a petrol pump in the town. Last week he met with an accident and could not report to his duty.

Angry employers sent another employee to his home and forced him reports at the fuel station.

As soon as he arrived, they tied him up and whipped him for around 10 minutes with a leather bull whip.

One of them also recorded it on his mobile phone. Ahirwar somehow escaped and went to his relatives place in Pawarkheda village.

On Thursday Ahirwar reported the matter to police after which two people identified as Chintu Sahu and Deepak Sahu were arrested.

Both were charged under various sections of SC/ST Act and sent to jail.
