Lokayukta case: State government nod to prosecute IAS Ramesh Thete
BHOPAL: The state government has granted approval to prosecute IAS Ramesh
In similar 10 cases, the then divisional commissioners of Ujjain disposed government land to private owners. They are under scanner, sources said. Thete, a 1993 batch dalit officer, who was posted as secretary in rural development department recently, filed a police complaint against his senior and additional chief secretary Radhe Shyam Julaniya alleging harassment. Government, later shunted Thete out and appointed as officer on special duty (OSD) in GAD.

"I was posted in Ujjain in 2013 and did justice to farmers of backward class. I promised the chief secretary not to speak anything about the case. So, I will not open my mouth come what may. But if I fail to bear the atrocity further, I will end my life," Thete told TOI.

Taking advantage of reservation, this indisciplined officer appears to have done a lot of corruption and no action has been taken against him so far.He has virtually brought shame to the elite service of IAS.
