‘Kisan Kendra in every gram panchayat’

Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on Tuesday that "PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendra" will be established in every gram panchayat. Along with soybean, sowing of crops of jowar, bajra, and maize should also be encouraged. Farmers should be provided with necessary information, including fertilisers, seeds, agricultural equipment, and soil testing, at one place through "PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendras".
Yadav was addressing the officials at the review meeting of the cooperative department in Mantralaya. The managing director of Apex Bank presented a dividend cheque of Rs 4 crore 27 lakh to the chief minister on the occasion. Cooperative Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister's Office Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Mohammad Suleman, officials of cooperative institutions, and senior officials were present in the meeting.
Yadav said that 5 oil mills have been approved by the National Cooperative Development Corporation in the state. As many as 235 "Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra" will be opened in the state. He said that a state-level innovation cell has been formed. New cooperative societies have been formed under "One District-One Product". He said that a plan should be prepared to further strengthen the district cooperative banks.
The works of Madhya Pradesh Rajya Sahkari Awas Sangh and various liabilities of Madhya Pradesh Rajya Vipanan Sangh were discussed in the meeting. It was informed that the state govt has invested share capital of Rs 142 crore in Apex Bank. Modern banking facilities have been increased in the bank. Thirty-eight district cooperative central banks of the state are working on a limited core banking solution system. Apex Bank has made an accumulated profit of Rs 131.83 crore. The bank has given a dividend amounting to Rs 12 crore 10 lakh to the state govt in the last 4 years. Training programmes are being conducted well by "Madhya Pradesh Rajya Sahkari Sangh". Sugar factories are functioning in Burhanpur and Khargone.
In the review meeting of the Narmada Valley Development Department, Yadav said that the benefits of irrigation projects should reach the scheduled tribe-dominated areas on time and in the right manner. Various irrigation projects were discussed in the meeting. Information was given on the tender and approval of projects. It was told in the meeting that scheduled tribe-dominated areas will get more benefits from irrigation projects. MSID:: 113037114 413 |
