Infant stolen from village in Bhind district

BHOPAL: A five-month-old infant of a tribal was allegedly stolen in Bhind district. Police have registered a case of abduction against unidentified persons and started investigations.
The incident took place at Mehgaon village of the district in the night of July 21. Police said that Trilok Adivasi, resident of Shivpuri district has built a shanty in front of the janapad panchayat office of Mehgaon and was living there.On the night of July 21 his wife who slept with her male child found him missing the next morning.
The couple searched for the child without any success after which they filed a police complaint. Police has registered a case of abduction and has started to locate the child, added sources.
