Man murders wife, hides body in Sagar fort

Bhopal: A man murdered his wife and concealed her body inside a fort in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh.The victim, identified as Shivangi, wife of Rishiraj Singh, was found murdered four days after her disappearance inside Dhamoni fort. This discovery came after police initiated a search following a missing persons complaint by her family.Police suspected the role of her husband, Rishiraj Singh. When questioned by the police, Rishiraj confessed to the crime, revealing that he had strangled his wife and hidden her body inside the fort.According to police reports, Shivangi and her husband had visited the Dhamoni fort on September 13. While Rishiraj returned home, Shivangi remained missing. This led her family to file a missing person report with the Madavara police.The investigation into Shivangi's disappearance led authorities to Rishiraj, who eventually broke down and admitted to the murder. He revealed that he was having an affair with another woman and that jealousy had driven him to commit the crime.Rishiraj was arrested and is currently being held in custody. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter and are working to gather further evidence.
