‘High 5’ for Paris as MP sets Oly glory in sight

Bhopal: Players of Madhya Pradesh are once again ready to showcase their talent in the Olympics. 5 players from the state will represent the country in the Paris Olympics and Para Olympics to be held in July, while two more can also qualify. Four players from state had participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.This time women hockey could not qualify due to which women hockey players from Madhya Pradesh will not be seen in the Olympics. In 2020, five players were from the MP Women's Hockey Academy.The players participating in the Paris Olympics will be Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar (Shooting), Kapil Parmar (Para Judo), Prachi Yadav (Para Water Sports), Rajni Jha (Para Water Sports) and Pooja Ojha (Para Water Sports). Prachi and Aishwary also participated in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Madhya Pradesh has a rich history of producing talented athletes who have represented the country at the highest level. The state has invested heavily in sports infrastructure and training facilities to nurture young talent and provide them with the necessary support to excel in their respective fields.Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, who will be representing India in shooting, is a rising star in the sport. He has already won several national and international medals and is expected to perform well in Paris. Tomar has been training hard and is focused on winning a medal for the country.Kapil Parmar, who will be participating in Para Judo, is another athlete from Madhya Pradesh who has made the state proud. Despite his physical limitations, Parmar has never let his disability come in the way of his passion for sports. He has been training hard and is determined to make a mark in Paris.Prachi Yadav, Rajni Jha, and Pooja Ojha will be representing India in Para Water Sports. All three athletes have been training hard and are eager to prove their mettle on the international stage.
