Bhopal/Jabalpur: A division bench of MP high court has said that a guest teacher can't be replaced by another person with same qualifications till appointment of a regular faculty is made. In response to a petition filed by a guest teacher of a school, the court said that she should be allowed to continue if she has the necessary qualification rather than replacing her with another person.
The petitioner
Garima Trivedi said she has been teaching as a guest teacher of economics at Eklavya school run by the tribal welfare department . Under the amended guidelines, she is being replaced with some other person. Not only her qualification but her experience of teaching is being ignored in the process, she contended.
Following arguments in the case, the division bench of Justice
Vivek Agrawal and Justice P N Singh ordered that she should be allowed to continue as a guest faculty if she has the necessary qualification for the post.TNN
