The Gwalior police on Saturday arrested a gun crazy milkman who fled with a revolver and cash belonging to a air force personnel from his official quarters at the Maharajpura air force station in Gwalior.

BHOPAL: The Gwalior police on Saturday arrested a gun crazy milkman who fled with a revolver and cash belonging to a air force personnel from his official quarters at the Maharajpura air force station in Gwalior.
Accused Monu Gurjar, resident of Girgaon village in the district was arrested from his residence. Havildar Dhirendra Yadav, resident of Deoria district in Uttar Pradesh, had lodged a complaint with the police that his .32 revolver and Rs 10,000 cash were stolen from his official quarters.

Police detained Monu on suspicion, as he was the only person who had visited the havildar's house. During interrogation he confessed to have stolen the revolver and cash, said Gwalior superintendent of police (SP) G K Pathak.
Monu's father, is a watchman at the air force colony, said the officer adding the weapon and cash has been recovered.
