Friend rapes woman

Bhopal: A man raped a 22-year-old woman after offering to drop her home but instead taking her to a park at night on Monday in the city. Cops said the woman was waiting for an auto when she encountered the accused in the area. The accused offered to drop her home. Instead of taking her home, the accused allegedly drove in another direction. When the survivor questioned him about their destination, he reportedly told her that he wanted to meet a friend before dropping her. He took her to a desolated place in a park and raped her. The woman told her husband about the ordeal. He accompanied her to the police station, where she lodged a complaint against the man.
