Fog of death: 4 dead as truck hits car in Gwalior

Bhopal: Four people were killed on the spot in a road accident on Friday morning when a speeding truck rammed into a car amid dense fog on Bhind Road highway in Gwalior, police said.The accident occurred around 8 am near Bantu Dhaba. The impact was so severe that the car was crushed. All four occupants, two men and two women from Bhind district, died instantly.The deceased were identified as Saurabh Sharma, 24, of Mehgaon, Jyoti Yadav, 35, of Bhind, Bhure Prajapati of Gormi, and Uma Rathore, 35, of Moroli village in Bhind district. Police said the car was travelling from Bhind to Gwalior when the truck, allegedly speeding amid poor visibility due to dense fog, struck it from behind. The driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle.
