BHOPAL: In the early hours of Tuesday, a fire broke out at a fruit market located in Damoh's Kachaura area, according to the local police. Thankfully, there were no casualties reported. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined as the police are still investigating the incident.

Upon receiving the distress call, the police promptly arrived at the scene. They were greeted by towering flames, but the fire tenders were quick to follow. The diligent efforts of the firefighters have successfully extinguished the fire, except for a few isolated pockets where they continue to work.

The fire has left a devastating impact on the market, with goods worth approximately Rs 3-4 lakh being damaged or destroyed, as confirmed by a shopkeeper present at the site.

The police have assured that further investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the fire. In a similar incident last week, a massive fire broke out at an oil factory situated in the Bhatapara industrial area of Gwalior. However, the fire was successfully contained by the fire tenders.

Our thoughts are with the affected individuals and businesses, and we hope for a speedy recovery.
