Biker without helmet loses control of two-wheeler, dies

Bhopal: A 34-year-old man died after he lost control of his bike and was thrown off the two-wheeler in Shahpura on Friday. The man, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained a severe head injury and died during treatment at a local hospital.
Investigation officer ASI Mahendra Chouksey said that the accident took place at around 10.30pm, when the deceased, Mohit Joshi, a resident of Rohit Nagar, was returning home on his bike. As he crossed the speed breaker near Shweta Complex in Sevoy Market, he lost control of his bike and was thrown on the road, causing him severe head and body injuries.
Upon receiving the information, cops arrived at the scene and rushed him to a private hospital in Habibganj in an ambulance. Mohit succumbed to his injuries on Friday at the hospital.
Shahpura police have registered a case and handed over the body to the family after a postmortem examination. An investigation into the exact cause of the accident is underway.
Mohit, who worked at a private company, got married just two years ago.
