Ex-friend circulates girl’s objectionable pics, case registered

Bhopal: A 23-year-old physiotherapy student was allegedly harassed by her former friend in Nishatpura locality. She approached Nishatpura police on Friday and lodged a complaint. Acting on the victim’s complaint, the police registered a molestation case and started investigation.

Investigating Officer ASI SR Khanna said that the victim resides with her family in Nishatpura locality and is a physiotherapy student. She stated in her complaint that she has been friends with accused Saifullah Khan, a resident of Karond locality, in the past. Since the past few days, the accused had been pressurizing her to become friends with him again or he would circulate her objectionable photographs. On June 11, the accused allegedly sent her objectionable photographs to her present boyfriend on WhatsApp. When the girl came to know about it, she felt bad and approached Nishatpura police to lodge a complaint. A case has been registered and investigations were on.
