A local villager, Awadhesh Prasad Sahu, told TOI, "The incident took place on Saturday morning, the injured woman is 65-year-old she was going towards the forest when the incident took place. The hyena attacked her and injured her in such a way that her palm remained hanging from the wrist as if it had been completely broken. Only a small portion remained attached.
