Drug peddler gives info on peddlers across MP

Bhopal: A day after crime branch arrested a Mumbai-based woman with party drug MDMA (ecstasy), police on Saturday claimed that during interrogation she has revealed information about her drug peddling network across cities of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur.

Police said that the woman, Rehana Khan, 45, revealed the names of many Bhopal-based students, who were either her clients or worked as peddlers for her. Many high-profile contacts of the woman in the city have also been revealed during interrogation, police said.

ASP (crime branch) Nishchal Jharia said that during interrogation, Rehana revealed the names of drug peddlers associated with her across MP. The names have not been made accused in the case but, police claim that information on them could help them get a clearer picture of drug peddlers in the state.

ASP Jharia said that police have now started keeping a close eye on the movement of suspects revealed by Rehana.
