Dr Deepak Maravi quits, Dr Ashish Gohia is Hamidia medical superintendent

BHOPAL: Dr Ashish Gohia has been made the new superintendent for Hamidia Hospital after incumbent Dr Deepak Maravi resigned on Monday.

Dr Gohia would officially take over as medical superintendent on July 1. GMC autonomous body has also appointed two additional medical superintendents, Dr Vandana Sharma and Dr Jeevan Singh Meena.

Earlier last week, an investigation into alleged misbehaviour was levelled against Dr Maravi. The letter of allegation with signatures from nurses is also being investigated by police.

Hamidia hospital is an associated hospital of Gandhi Medical College (GMC). The administration appointed an investigation into the matter. The inquiry committee final report is expected later this week.
