The state government has directed Betul district superintendent of police to register a case against Betul’s non-government organisation Krishna Education Welfare Society for fraud and giving misleading information.

BHOPAL: The state government has directed Betul district superintendent of police to register a case against Betul’s non-government organisation Krishna Education Welfare Society for fraud and giving misleading information. The Women & Child Development Department had recognized this organization as children’s home under the Integrated Child Development Scheme and protection home under the Usha Kiran Yojana.

The Directorate of Women’s Empowerment had received a number of complaints against the organization. The Betul district collector had conducted an inquiry into the complaints.
The collector had submitted his report to the directorate on January 18, 2013. The report also mentioned fraud committed by the organization through misleading and erroneous documents. Taking it seriously, Commissioner Women’s Empowerment Kalpana Shrivastava directed to register a case against the organization as per rules for committing fraud and giving wrong information to government servants. Directive has also been given to send action taken report in the case to the directorate.
