Majid Khan

. Faiyyaz Ali is the owner of Vicky Trader warehouse where the district administration officials conducted the raid and recovered the illegallystored grains.

Ahuja owns Simran Foods from where around 115 quintals of rice was recovered and Sahu is the owner of Aman Foods from where 15 quintals of wheat was recovered. Khalid Khan is the transporter, who was supposed to deliver the food-grains from

State Civil Supplies Corporation

warehouse to the Madarsa.

Majid Khan is the director of the Madarsa, to which the food-grains were sanctioned. SI Gautam said that the action was taken on the basis of a written complaint filed by assistant supply officer posted in food and civil supplies department in the collectorate on Tuesday.

He stated that acting on a tip-off, the district administration conducted a raid and recovered the food-grain sacks stored at godowns in the Karond Mandi premises. City superintendent of police Nishatpura Lokesh Sinha said that officials of Food and Civil Supplies are investigating the matter.

A case has been registered against five persons on Tuesday and names of other persons would be added if they are found involved in the case.
