crackers has found favour with shopkeepers in city, who are displaying the Sivakasi brand to counter the Dragon. And they are using Prime Minister Modi's name to hammer home the point. had tweeted that letters with a message undersigned by him and being circulated on social media to boycott Chinese products, are fake.
Daulatram Sabnani, president of Wholesale Fireworks Association, Bhopal claimed the message has been downloaded from government website and is being displayed after discussions with other members of the association.
It has been decided to paste the message on shops. "We support PM and we asked all dealers to spurn China-made crackers. If anyone is found selling Chinese items, we will boycott them," said Sabnani. Some dealers even have crackers that bear the "Make in India" logo. "We have tried to put the logo on all the crackers and toy pistols. Those not carrying the logo have been checked with manufacturers to ensure these do not contain Chinese content," said Mohammad Saqib, another cracker wholesaler at Halalpura market .
