Couple ends life in Panna

Bhopal: A couple committed suicide in Panna district.
First the husband consumed some poisonous substance and was rushed to hospital where he died during treatment, hearing the news of his death, his wife set herself ablaze, she too was rushed to hospital where she died during treatment.
The incident took place at Biharsarbaria village under Ajaygarh police station of the district on Tuesday.Deceased identified as Sandeep Patel, 30, had consumed some poisonous substance in the morning and hearing the news of his death, his wife Poonam Patel, 23, set herself ablaze and she too died during treatment late on Tuesday night.
“We received information that Sandeep Patel had consumed some poisonous substance. He was not in a condition to give a statement. He was immediately rushed to district hospital where he died during treatment. Hearing the news of his death, his wife Poonam Patel, 23, who was also expecting a child, set herself ablaze. She was brought to community health centre with 90% burns, doctors referred her to district hospital after primary treatment, she also died late in the night”, head constable Brij Ketu posted at Ajaygarh police station told TOI. He added, “A case has been registered at police outpost in district hospital, it will be transferred to our police station. ” tnn
