Constable dies in road accident

Bhopal: A constable posted in Mandla was killed after being hit by a tractor trolley in the district late on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Vivek Pandey, a native of Satna. He was posted as the constable of Kotwali police station for the last two years. Pandey was on way home on his motorcyle when the incident took place. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he died, said police.“The tractor trolley was identified and case registered against the driver. The tractor was employed by a construction company that is laying a sewage line in the area”, Kotwali police station incharge, Janak Singh Rawat told TOI. tnn
