Committee to submit report on Jun 19

Bhopal: The high-level committee constituted for probing the fire incident at the Satpura Bhawan is likely to submit its report to the government on Monday. Additional chief secretary, home, Rajesh Rajora informed that committee has taken permission from the government for submitting its probe report by June 19, as the forensic report as well as experts committee report is yet to be received and the probe report will be submitted before the government by 2 pm on Monday. The committee had recorded statements of seven employees on Tuesday and statements of around 20 more employees were recorded between Wednesday and Thursday. The committee has also apprised the government the necessity of structural strength assessment of the Satpura Bhawan and re-starting the offices in the eastern wing of the building, said sources. On Monday, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had constituted a high-level committee to probe into the fire incident at Satpura Bhawan. The committee comprises, additional chief secretary, home, Rajesh Rajora, principal secretary urban administration Neeraj Mandoli, principal secretary PWD Sukhveer Singh, ADG fire, Ashutosh Rai. TNN
