Cold lingers in city, fog spreads across state

Bhopal: The day as well as night temperature in the city remained below the normal on Friday. Many places in the state witnessed fog and a warning of the same continues for many places in the state.The day temperature in Bhopal on Friday was recorded at 24.6 degrees celsius, a degree less than normal mark, while the night temperature in the city was 9.8 degrees celsius, two degrees less than normal mark. A minimum temperature of 3 degrees celsius was recorded in Rajgarh.Cold wave was witnessed in Rajgarh. A severe cold day was observed in Shajapur. Fog was witnessed in Satna, Gwalior, Rewa, Guna, Sidhi, Raisen, Naogaon (Chhatarpur) and Damoh dists on Friday.A warning of dense fog was issued for Bhind, Morena, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, and Maihar.
