CM flags off development, dairy and cultural initiatives

Bhopal: CM Mohan Yadav said the state's development agenda will continue at full pace, stressing that the govt has no shortage of funds for ongoing projects.Yadav highlighted that MP currently ranks third in milk production, and continuous efforts are underway to make the state number one in the country. Under the Ambedkar Kamdhenu Scheme, special incentives are being provided to livestock farmers. Under this scheme, cattle owners with more than 25 cows will receive grants of up to Rs 10 lakh.Yadav addressed a program organised under the ‘Seva Pakhwada' in Rusalla village of Mungawali assembly constituency, Ashoknagar district, on Saturday. The event was held in memory of the late social worker Raghuveer Singh Yadav. The Chief Minister urged livestock farmers to increase cow rearing and expand the production of milk, curd, butter, and other dairy products to benefit from govt grant schemes. He also emphasised the promotion of religious and cultural values and traditions in the state. On Dussehra, Shastra Poojan (weapon worship) will be performed across state arsenals, and Govardhan Puja will be celebrated during Diwali.Yadav shared that places associated with Lord Krishna's Leelas are being developed as pilgrimage sites, while stops associated with Lord Rama will be developed along the Ram Van Gaman Path. He announced that Geeta Bhavans will be established throughout the state, and episodes from Lord Krishna's life will be included in school and college curricula.Yadav announced that the local high school will be upgraded to a higher secondary school, along with the construction of a sports ground and complex. In response to local representatives' requests, he directed the Collector to conduct a survey for an irrigation project covering approximately 100 hectares in villages surrounding Rusalla.Yadav unveiled a statue in Rusalla on the sixth death anniversary of social worker Raghuveer Singh Yadav, father of former MP KP Yadav.
