NEW DELHI: A entire class of 12th-grade students at Sainik School were suspended after a teacher's vehicle was damaged during a cricket game in Rewa district, Madhya Pradesh, according to officials on Saturday.
Five students from the class approached Additional Collector Sapna Tripathi on Friday to file a complaint about their collective suspension.
"Students complained that their entire class had been suspended over an issue of damage to a teacher's vehicle," Tripathi told reporters.
"I would talk to the administrative officer and principal of the school to sort out the issue, as the students have to appear for examinations," she added.
Sources revealed the damage occurred when students were playing cricket on the school grounds.
School Principal Avinash Rawal declined to comment when approached about the situation.
