Burglars steal revolver, other valuables

BHOPAL: Unidentified burglars broke open the house of a forest official and decamped with revolver, cartridges, cash, and other valuables worth Rs 11 lakh here on Thursday.
Police said complainant, Sunil Kumar Jain, a resident of Sonagiri, had gone to Manali with his wife and daughter. His son was at home, but he too went out on March 19.
The incident came to fore when Jain returned on Thursday and opened locks of the door to find the cash, valuables and firearm missing.He reported the matter to police.
Girl found dead: A 15-year-old girl was found dead with burn injuries in Kalish Nagar here on Thursday afternoon. Police suspected that the deceased committed suicide by setting herself ablaze. Deceased Preeti Yadav resided with her uncle and aunt while her parents live in Apsara Talkies area. She was found dead with burn injuries in bathroom. Police said the body has been sent for autopsy.
