BHOPAL: The bodies of a farmer, his wife, and their three children were found hanging in their house in Raudi village of Alirajpur on Monday morning. Alirajpur SP Rajesh Vyas said Rakesh, son of Jagar Singh, his wife Lalita, their daughter Lakshmi, and sons Prakash and Akshay were found hanging from five different nooses inside their house in Raudi village under the Guneri panchayat of Alirajpur district on Monday early morning.
The matter came to light after Rakesh’s uncle arrived at his home for some work. When they did not open the gate, he peeped in and was shocked to see them hanging. Police officials were informed, and SP Rajesh Vyas arrived at the spot to inspect the crime scene. The bodies were taken down and sent for a post-mortem examination.
Vyas said that the reason behind the crime was not clear yet, and they were in the process of recording statements from the family members and villagers. The police were still determining whether this was a case of suicide or murder, and all angles were being investigated.
