The NDA govt has also completed 100 days. "In the last 100 days, the country has received projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore for the development of infrastructure.
While these projects will create lakhs of employment opportunities, they will also give direction to the development of the country. Out of these projects, Rs three lakh crore are for the development of roads, rail facilities and ports," Sharma said.
"Roads and highways equipped with modern technology will be built at a cost of Rs 50,600 crore. The country has received eight new rail projects, which also include the Indore-Manmad railway line of Madhya Pradesh. This rail project will prove to be the path of development of tribals in the state," the state BJP president said.
"So far, an amount of Rs 3 lakh crore has been sent to the bank accounts of 12.33 crore farmers. Through the minimum support price, the Prime Minister has provided a benefit of Rs 2 lakh crore to 12 crore farmers. Seven major schemes worth Rs 14,200 crore have been approved for farmers, which includes the Digital Agriculture Mission. The draft report of the new National Cooperative Policy has also been prepared, which is being finalised soon," VD Sharma said.
"In Madhya Pradesh also, the system of Multi Cooperative Society will be implemented in every panchayat to benefit farmers and common people. To ensure that farmers get better prices for onion and basmati rice, the Prime Minister has removed the minimum export price from onion and basmati rice, thereby reducing the export duty on onion from 40% to 20%. The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund is being expanded to strengthen the farmers economically. A new fund called Agrisure has been launched to bring revolution in the agriculture sector and support start-ups and rural enterprises," Sharma said.
