BHOPAL: BJP national general secretary and former Madhya Pradesh minister for urban administration Kailash Vijayvargiya is admitted in a private hospital in Mumbai where he is undergoing treatment for acute sinusitis. In an early morning tweet on Monday, Vijayvargiya explained he has undergone a surgery under senior ENT surgeon Dr Nishit Shah and has been advised complete rest and isolation till October 7.
“On Ashtami day, I suffered intolerable headache and after MRI, CT Scan was advised by doctors to go for immediate surgery,” Vijayvargiya’s tweet said. “On Dussehra, senior ENT specialist Dr Nishit Shah performed the FESS Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, to contain any chances of infection, after which I have been advised to avoid public contact for a week. I will not be able to meet anyone till October 7, this is doctor’s advice which is like punishment for me.”
The BJP leader added that the seven days in quarantine would be difficult for him but he hoped for cooperation and blessings as always.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted, “I am concerned about the ill-health of my brother @KailashOnline. Pray to the Almighty for his fast recovery.” More tweets to Kailash Vijayvargiya followed from state BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, minister for panchayats Gopal Bhargava, minister for energy Paras Jain, minister of state Sanjay Pathak, MP Rakesh Singh and other BJP leaders and supporters.
According to close family friends, Vijayvargiya was in Indore to celebrate Navratri. On September 28 and the festivities of Durga Ashtami, he was singing bhajans at a function in Depalpur when he complained of intolerable headache. He was rushed to Bombay Hospital where he underwent MRI and CT Scan after which he was transferred to Mumbai.
