BJP issues show-cause notice to Sagar mayor’s husband

Bhopal: State BJP working committee member Sushil Tiwari is said to have been served a show-cause notice by the state party for reportedly sharing a message that urban administration Bhupendra Singh could take charge as state BJP president before the assembly elections.
The notice from the office of state BJP general secretary (administration) Bhagwandas Sabnani said, “Random allegations, which are false, have been made on the social media against state BJP president VD Sharma from your official mobile number. The image of the state BJP president and the BJP has been tarnished through your posts. Therefore, give a clarification within three days after receipt of this notice, as to why punitive action should not be taken against you.”
Sushil Tiwari is the husband of Sagar mayor Sangeeta Tiwari. He shared a message on Whatapp that sent ripples through the BJP. The message said that minister for urban administration Bhupendra Singh could take charge as state BJP president before the assembly elections.
He also made certain allegations about state BJP chief VD Sharma.
Replying to the notice, Sushil Tiwari said that a content received over Whatsapp was accidentally and without his knowledge, forwarded by one of his staff members.
After he saw the message, he immediately removed the same from his mobile number.
