Bhopal: Two-year-old touches live wire while playing outside, dies

BHOPAL

: A 2-year-old girl was electrocuted after she came in contact with a

live wire

near an

electric pole

in Sukhi Sewania on Sunday afternoon, while playing near her house. The girl was identified as Ishika Yadav.

Police said, they will write to power discom officials to address the issue of open wires. In another incident, a 30-year-old man was electrocuted on Saturday morning. The deceased Mukesh Kumar Pandey touched his cooler and was electrocuted due to an electrical fault in the appliance.

Pandey was declared dead on arrival when he was taken to the hospital. In the third incident, a 45-year-old advocate got electrocuted while he was switching on the water pump at his home in Govindpura on Saturday evening.
