Bhopal: Mystery shrouds girl's death in Bag Sewania

BHOPAL: A 17-year-old girl allegedly died under mysterious circumstances in Bag Sewania on Tuesday. Thinking that the unwell girl was under influence of an 'evil spirit', her family took her to a occult practitioner. When her condition worsened, they rushed her to AIIMS on Tuesday in an unconscious state where she died on arrival.
Bag Sewania police said a case has been registered.Investigation officer ASI GP Joshi said that deceased Shivani Kushwah lived with her mother and stepfather, who took their ill daughter to an occult practitioner suspecting she was under influence of an evil spirit. When her condition worsened, they took her to AIIMS where she died after arrival, police said.
