Bhopal: Rimil Hembram of Bengal clinched gold in the senior recurve, while Akshita from Delhi triumphed in the compound category of archery in the third NTPC Khelo India National Ranking Women's Championship at Ankur ground on Friday.
In the senior recurve category, Rimil Hembram displayed exceptional form, maintaining consistency throughout her matches. Aditi Jaiswal's silver-medal finish reflected her strong competitive spirit, while BB Varghesekumar's bronze-winning effort showed resilience.
The junior recurve competition was equally compelling, with Trisha Punia exhibiting masterful control and technique. Anisha Das and Mukta Deepak Modgi both showed promising talent. The compound division matches were thrilling, with Akshita's gold-winning performance marking her as a dominant force. Risha Rathi and Swati also shined, bagging silver and bronze medals respectively.
