Bedridden after fall, 45-year-old woman kills self in Bhopal

BHOPAL: A 45-year-old woman, who was bedridden after she fell on a terrace around a week back, allegedly consumed phenyl in Habibganj locality on Friday. She was rushed to a hospital, where she died undergoing treatment.
Investigation officer ASI Shiv Narayan Sahu said that the deceased Sheetal,wife of Sanjay Khandelwal, a resident of E2/Arera Colony, was a housewife.Her husband is a businessman.
ASI Sahu said that the family members told police that Sheetal fell on the terrace when she had gone to spread clothes around a week back and sustained multiple fractures in limbs. She has been bedridden since then and was undergoing treatment at home. On Friday, when she was alone at the house, she consumed phenyl. Her daughter spotted her when her condition started deteriorating and rushed her to hospital .
