BHOPAL: Another teacher came forward to lodge a harassment complaint against the principal of

government school on Tuesday.
Two teachers had already filed similar complaints against the principal

accusing her of harassment and using abusive language. Hearing the case on Tuesday, the women's panel refused to accept the principal's claim that her staff was non-supportive. The bench asked the principal not to misbehave with her staff.
"As far as complaints are concerned, it is clear that the principal is using her power to boss around the teachers, make them uncomfortable and humiliate them. The principal of government school has failed to do her duty and it is unfortunate," the bench said.
In her complaint, Tiwari told the bench that principal tried to force her to sign a letter which she (principal) had written to higher authorities for the transfer of a teacher Manisha Parasir. "I refused to sign the letter as it was unfair. She had sought transfer of my colleague out of grudge and I didn't want to support her."
The principal was also summoned by the commission who in her defence told the bench that all the teachers have been conspiring against her for being tough on their "mistakes."
"It is a conspiracy that is being hatched against me because I am tough when it comes to rules," she told the bench. However, her claims were rejected by the commission.
