After fog & showers, city braces for clear skies and cooler nights

Bhopal: The state may witness slight fall in the night temperatures after clearing of the weather system leading to fog and showers. Dip in temperatures would again lead to prevailing dry weather in the state. The temperatures in the city remained close to the normal mark.The day temperature in Bhopal on Thursday was recorded at 25.4 degrees celsius, a degree less than the normal mark, while the night temperature in the city was 13.0 degrees celsius, two degrees more than the normal mark.
A minimum temperature of 7 degrees celsius was recorded in Rajgarh. Fog was observed in Khajuraho, Gwalior, Datia and Satna dists.In the forecast for Bhopal on Friday the meteorological dept stated there would be clear sky and hazy weather would prevail. Day and night temperature would be respectively 25 degrees celsius and 12 degrees celsius, while average wind speed will be twelve kilometers per hour.In the forecast for the state, the meteorological dept issued a warning of fog for Gwalior, Datia, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Bhind, Morena, Singrauli and Sidhi dists. A warning of moderate fog and cold day was issued for Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Panna, Maihar while a cold day warning existed for Damoh dist, the meteorological dept stated.
