Accident victim’s family awarded 1 cr

Bhopal: A sessions court at Bhopal awarded compensation of over Rs 1.13 crore to the family of an assistant manager working with a private firm in a road accident case. The driver & owner of the truck which hit the car in which the deceased was travelling and the insurance company extending third party insurance to the said truck have been asked to pay the amount of compensation to the family of the deceased.According to advocate L. B. Yadav, the deceased Ramasre Sharma was traveling in his car from Indore to Biaora town on August 5, 2023, around midnight, when a recklessly driven truck coming from the wrong side hit his car. TNN
