Absconding criminal held with country-made pistol

Bhopal: Crime Branch on Friday claimed to have arrested a criminal absconding in an Arms Act case. A country-made pistol and bullets have been seized from him.
About a dozen crimes are already registered against the accused at various police stations of the city.
According to the police, Furkan, a man who carried a pistol and danced in a wedding party, was arrested by the Crime Branch in December, 2022.During interrogation, the accused revealed that the said weapon was made available to him by Kapil Yadav, a resident of Roshanpura. Kapil was also absconding in the Arms Act case registered at the Crime Branch. He was arrested near Roshanpura intersection on Thursday on the information received from an informer.
