Bhopal: An unidentified accused allegedly assaulted and looted a smartphone from an elderly electrician while he was returning home, on Danapani Road in
Habibganj
on Sunday night.
Habibganj police said they have registered a loot case.

and works as an electrician. On Sunday around 8.30pm, he was walking home after work from a site in Saket Nagar. After he crossed Habibganj under bridge and was walking through

road, an unidentified accused came from behind and suddenly started assaulting him. The accused managed to escape by crossing the railway tracks.
Shocked, the victim went home and narrated the incident to his son Brijendra. The family approached Habibganj police who lodged a complaint of loot case against unidentified accused. They said they will scan footage of CCTVs in the neighbourhood to get any clue about the accused. tnn
